HR&P and Comerica Bank Meet and Greet Luncheon at Perry’s Steakhouse
The featured speaker at the June Houston A&M Club Traditions Luncheon was Lieutenant General James Bierman, the 47th Commandant of the Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets.
What stood out immediately was his deep pride in the things that matter most: his marriage, his family, and his distinguished service to our country in the United States Marine Corps. After an accomplished 38-year military career culminating in the rank of Lieutenant General (Three-Star General), he brings a wealth of leadership experience to one of the most important roles at Texas A&M University.
Leading the Corps of Cadets at a Senior Military College is a uniquely complex responsibility. After hearing him discuss the opportunities and challenges ahead, we are confident that the Corps is in the best hands. His thoughtful approach to leadership, combined with his genuine respect for the Aggie tradition, positions him perfectly to guide the next generation of leaders.
We are grateful for the opportunity to hear his perspective and learn more about his vision for the future of the Corps of Cadets. Thank you for your service, Lieutenant General James Bierman!
And thank you to HR&P’s Carson Still ’23 for representing HR&P at this special event.
HR&P is proud to support the Aggie community and continue its sponsorship of the Houston A&M Club’s luncheon series throughout 2026. Events like these provide meaningful opportunities to celebrate achievement, recognize service, and strengthen connections among alumni and the greater Aggie network.
We look forward to the upcoming luncheons and continuing to support this outstanding tradition throughout the year.
