HR&P Proudly Sponsored the Military Salute of the Game during the University of Houston Men’s Basketball Game Against Kansas State

Marco A. Lopez of the United States Marine Corps Reserves was honored before the Coogs took on Kansas State.

Marco served our country from 1990 to 1996 as an Infantry Rifleman and Team Leader with Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 23rd Marines, holding the rank of Corporal.

In 1994, Marco was part of a first-place Super Squad in the U.S. Marine Corps Super Squad Competition, which recognizes elite teamwork and combat readiness.

After his service, Marco earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Houston in 2014.
