Lopez of the United States Marine Corps Reserves was honored before the Coogs took on Kansas State. Marco served our country from 1990 to 1996 as an Infantry Rifleman and Team Leader with Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 23rd Marines, holding the rank of Corporal.
