HR&P Sponsors Military Salute at UH vs. Colorado
HR&P was proud to sponsor the Military Salute of the Game before the University of Houston’s football matchup against the Colorado Buffaloes. The evening began with a heartfelt tribute as Eddie Nuñez, UH Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics, presented a game ball to David Wilson Falknor Jr., who served in the United States Navy.
David held the rank of torpedoman’s mate 2nd class petty officer and dedicated nine years of service to our country as an advanced underwater weapons technician. In his final year of service, he was deployed to the Middle East in support of Operation Desert Shield.
He was joined on the field by his wife, Kathy, and his daughter, Amaris, as fans rose to their feet to applaud his service and sacrifice. The moment served as a powerful reminder of the courage and commitment of those who serve in our armed forces.
The tribute followed by a Cougar victory over the Colorado Buffaloes, what a night! HR&P is honored to continue supporting the Houston community and celebrating the service members who protect our freedom.
