HR&P Proudly Sponsored the Military Salute of the Game during the University of Houston Men’s Basketball Game Against Arizona State

Erica Reid-Brown of the United States Army was recognized before the Coogs took on Arizona State.

Erica has proudly served our country for 13 years and currently holds the rank of Staff Sergeant, serving as the Senior Operations Noncommissioned Officer and vocalist with the 1st Cavalry Division Band.

Throughout her military career, Erica has also served as a Motor Transport Operator, completing deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of our nation’s mission abroad. Her dedicated service has earned her numerous awards and commendations, including three Army Commendation Medals, a Joint Service Achievement Medal, ten Army Achievement Medals, and the Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal.

Joining Erica tonight is her husband, Arnold Jarvis Jr. Brown, a retired United States Army veteran with 21 years of service.
